What affects clinic cleaning pricing?
Published by Puresite Clinical Cleaning ·
Cleaning proposals depend on facility size, frequency, treatment-room count, required areas, timing and site-specific requirements. Here is how each of those moves the number.
The main drivers
- Floor area, and how much of it is clinical rather than general space
- Number of consulting and treatment rooms cleaned each visit
- Frequency — five days a week versus weekly changes the structure entirely
- Areas in scope, particularly bathrooms and staff facilities
- Timing — after-hours, early morning, weekend or split visits
- Floor types and the periodic care they need
Site-specific factors
- Multi-level buildings or split tenancies
- Shared entries and common areas
- Access complexity, alarms and security requirements
- Consumables — whether you supply them or we do
- Higher-soil rooms such as podiatry or children's areas
Why hourly rates mislead
An hourly rate tells you nothing about what gets finished. Two providers at the same rate can deliver very different outcomes depending on how many hours they allocate and what their task list covers. A recurring programme priced against a documented scope is comparable; an hourly figure is not.
Getting an accurate proposal
Any provider quoting a clinic without walking through it is guessing. A site assessment establishes room count, floor types, access, soil levels and the realistic time required — which is why our proposals follow an on-site visit.
